Haiti Relief and Auction

help_haiti is an auction to help raise money for disaster relief. For those unable to offer money you can donate your time in the form of writing, beta skills, art, etc.

Earlier, I posted infomation on how to help those in Haiti. Now here's another way.

I have signed up for the auction. I’m also willing to expand my horizons and for this auction only will be willing to write het, or OT4. I have written het before in CSI back in the day.

I am offering: fan fiction •1,000 to 10,000 words

Obviously my focus is on Stargate Atlantis. , but I‘m also willing to try NCIS or NCIS L.A , but it would be my first time writing for the fandom.

As you guys know my focus is gen, typically action, angst or h/c, but I enjoy character exploration or slice of life stories as well. I’m fine with dark stories, but will not write non-con, rape, or m-preg.

I’ll write anything with any characters, willing to expand, or go with my strengths. :D

I must be nuts, but if I'm going to write something, better before I'm knee deep in "Red Sands" but for me, it's a way to raise money for those who need it the most.

Man, I really wanted to bid on you and make you write NCIS, but the bidding has gone too high for me, I'm afraid. (Still not as high as you deserve it to be, though.)

Awww, I'm sorry hon. I was surprised at the bids, but I'm happy to be able to help raise money. I can barely pay the bills, so the least I could do was write something that would make a reader happy AND give to this cause.

If I had the time, I'd do two auctions, but I don't. It would have been fun to write NCIS.

I went ahead and signed up, for three vids, though. I've got enough on my writing plate as it is.

And I'm like you. Misha Collins has a fandom-specific UNICEF donation going on, and I already gave all I can really afford to it. I can go a bit higher on the auction, though. And if my vids can do some good, then I'm all for that.

Me too! What an awesome way to help Haiti and "force" you to write NCIS but obviously you've become a writer of distinction so everybody wants you! The last time I checked bids were way too high for me to bid at this time :( Then again, you never know - I may find coins in the couch cushions!

That's very sweet to say. I wrote for three years in the CSI fandom before SGA, and ER before that. I tend to stick to one for a long while, but as I said, I'll apply everything I have to whatever wins.

As of this morning you might get a NCIS fic out of me :D
