I finished day eight in a row at work thank goodness. I am worn out, but very happy!

I feel kind of bad about my recing this month. I had a list of eight John and Ronon friendship stories I wanted to share and only got to four of them because of time. Hopefully, someone else will take up that category or I might take it on in a few months.

I enjoyed the double shot of TV tonight. NCIS was very, very good and L.A. had the wit and banter I've come to really love. If I had a clone, I'd try writing in those fandoms, but I'm fairly booked for a long while.

At the Co-Op I work at we sell these organic spritzers. Nothing like 100% Red Raspberry sparkling juice with a bit of vodka to relax to!


Okay, back to writing. I have on the hard drive the live performance of Nine Inch Nails' "The Downward Spiral" that they did for their final show in its entirety. The music is the perfect setting for chapter 13!

Don't get me wrong - I'm excitedly awaiting 'Red Sands' and all, but seriously... NIN did ALL of TDS in one show??? And no one told me?? Damn! I must find a download! I left NIN fandomry after The Fragile and had no idea. Thanks for the heads up!

They did it as part of the last two club shows ever. I saw NIN in 1991 and have loved everything ever since. (Saw them 13 times..er..yeah) I've written a ton of fics to "Year Zero" and "The Slip". Hated "With Teeth" until I re-listened to it last year.

Anyhow long story short. During the last tour Trent released 400 gigs of HD concert footage under the creative common license. About 500 tech savoy fans over a course of a year put together the show as a download in Blue Ray, DVD, or you tube formats.

They also put out the entirety of "TDS" that Trent performed live in addition to 20 other songs!

THANK YOU! That's awesome! Even though I say I've left the fandom, I don't think I'll ever truly move on. I only saw them live once but wow, I had a TON of bootlegs and videos at one point. All gone now, but I sometimes miss them... First fanfic I ever wrote was NIN. Not that it ever saw the light of day as such...

I honestly never thought those two songs would be performed live. I was impressed enough when 'Big Man With a Gun' was played. And didn't they even play 'Last' eventually? Was there anything else never performed live?

I saw the previews for that but I don't trust FOX shows much..lol

Oddly, I watch things like "Pawn Stars" on History and "Top Gear" on BBC more than I do new dramas. I'm odd.
