Seeing all of [livejournal.com profile] tridget's artwork gave me the inspiration to try a little my own. I only have photobucket's most basic features, but attempted several layers of effects and tint changes while I thought about my next scene.

Lovely work! I love the first one especially with the coloring of him and the chair so similar its like they're sorta one entity, which they are when he's using it. :D

Great job!

Thank you. I tinted John and the chair a few times to get the overall color scheme, then did a lot of layer effects to the background. Doubt I'll do much more, but it was a fun distraction. Leave all the graphics stuff to people like you :D

Love the first one especially, cool background effects. I've been playing around with Photoshop and it is almost addicting.

I kept playing around with it and was frustrated by the lack of things PB would allow me to do. Think it was a rare one time thing but I found it relaxing.

Neat. I like how the back of the chair looks like it is flowing and the background looks like single celled organisms of some sort (at least to me)- sort of alive - goes well with the Shep/Atlantis themed stories you were gathering a list of.

I finding creating computer art relaxing and inspiring and a wee bit addictive.

I wanted to be all blue-tones and slightly matrix like. I made all those blue dots :-P twice, and changed the first layer with another effect. I found it very relaxing as you said, while I was trying to figure out a scene.

Wow, cool! I have no clue how to do anything like that. You've never done this before? I'm way impressed. I like how fluid the chair and background look, and the color of Sheppard in that first one makes it look like he's melting into it... Fun!

This was my very first time and was surprised by the number of things I did to get the background stuff. I changed everything about the pic from John to the chair to a ton of background stuff. It was fun,and gave my brain time to work out a scene :D

Very cool - maybe the second one is how the city sees Shep?
