I'm Home

I'm home after going to bed at 11:30 pm and having to get up at 4am to catch the first of two trains, and then a plane home. I had a wonderful time, and most importantly it was relaxing. No schedules, lots of enjoying the 75 degree weather, and sunshine. Never went to the cherry blossom festival, but mom and I had a picnic outside and went to a few parks. Oh, watched lots of TV for some reason, CSI, NCIS, The Unit.

Now, I'm dealing with the post seeing my mom blues. We are very close, so I tend to be very melancholy for a few days. Going to try to catch up a bit, but I'm half brain dead, but it's too early to go to bed phase.

I'm sorry things are not well with your mom. All I have is my hubby, mom, and a distant relationship with my sister which was only recently mended. Cousins, Uncles, Grandparents, nope, don't have any or never knew them...so I understand.

Welcome back! I think there's some type of time acceleration/deccelation factor when it comes to vacations: It seems to take forever to get to vacation day, and then time flies once you're on vacation!

At least you had fun! I've never been to a cherry blossom festival either! Sounds cool!

They never do..it seems everywhere but the states vacations are two weeks long because the mind/body only learns to relax after the first 4-5 days.

But,it was very nice.
