Con Reports?

I'm selfish, I know. I've seen some fantastic photos from the Minn Con last weekend, but are there any reports from the panels or those meet and greets? I heard the con was super small, so I know there were not a lot of people there, but I'd love to see or hear more about it :D

LOS started to post little reports on the gateworld forum along with some photos. As I'm not very clever at posting links, I've just copied the link to the page on the thunk thread where she's put a couple of things. Hope this works!

A link to the thread set up for the for the con with photos and comments from the fans who were there. For me, the photo of the seating is amazing as the hall at Fedcon in February had seating for 2000!!! This little con looks so much cosier.

I'm glad it's not just me who can't find any reports! I'd have thought by now people would have had something to say? Maybe nothing much of particular interest, or nothing different from Van Con or MK, stuff which has been reported already, was said? I guess with so many cons recently, there's only so much new info to come out. Come on Atlantis fans, get typing!!!!!

Honestly, it's all a big blur of Joe and David to me. Once I finally finish going through my pics I can go back and try to organize my notes. If I don't do the pictures right away, they won't get done.

My favorite Joe story was his Rabbit Island story. Put the bunny on the island so it can feed on the weeds! No more chores for Joe!

When we had our backstage VIP talk with David, they turned all the lights out on us (not necessarily on purpose) and we chatted by light of iPhone. LOL!

Joe is still working on developing a new show. It was deemed too similar to Rockford (ironically) so now that that show isn't going anywhere, he wants to revisit the idea. He said Rockford was the first project to come along that he was really interested in, but they didn't want him. He joked (half-joked?) that the PtB were put off by our fannish determination to get him cast, as then it would be our idea and not theirs. He said, "C'mon! I am Rockford!"

We admonished him for turning down a guest part on NCIS. He was unimpressed and said he was holding out for a story arc, instead of a one-off. He did admit, it was a good part, and is starting to waiver on his resolve to stay in L.A. He's willing to consider Vancouver again, but no farther away than that. Interesting!

Wow, so the show he was pitching was too close to "Rockford"? He mentioned at Fedcon that he had an idea and the network had another one--which means they want him to do something! I trust his instincts if he's not jumping on what they want him to do.

I know how much he hates traveling so far from his family, I guess all the studios have left L.A. I really wish he could work and be happy with his family!
