It was a groundbreaking device designed to glimpse alternate universes and government commissioned by a brilliant physicist. But the machine malfunctioned on its first presentation, transporting a group of observers into a nightmarish new dimension. I'm pretty sure he's the lead because of the 'starring' order and let's face it, he's really picky and its a movie for Sy Fy, I couldn't see him accepting unless he was the lead.

Wraithfodder's Lair says that the movie will actually list an Irish actor as the lead. Or maybe the actor himself said he was the lead? I hope Joe's role is big enough to get attention. Sometimes someone other than the lead steals the show. -Diane

That was from the actor's twitter last night and given how short you have to keep tweets, he might have meant he was one of three leads. We won't know until Joe informs us somehow at a con etc, but I'll go with the order of credits from the website that lists Joe first.

I'm trying not to worry about the timing, what with Chicago coming up. He did tweet about seeing David there, so he must think there won't be a conflict. And yet, I worry.

He appears on a Saturday, so if he's filming, he can leave Friday night and come in late. I'm not even thinking of him no-showing...I can't!!

The description actually sounds decent, an actual plot and not just some oversize fish/bird/snake eats man type Sci Fi movie. I'm excited to hear that Joe is a Colonel which hopefully means lots of action - running with cool weapons. No wonder Joe signed on for this! Right up his alley - and mine! It does sound like a somewhat decent plot. I'm not a fan of SY Fy movies, but the co-production company is responsible for "Tin Man " and "Alice". While not as big budget, I don't think Joe would do a 'Evil Penguins from Space' type movie.

And the part really does seem to suit him and us!!

I cringed when I read it was a SyFy movie, they are usually so bad,IMO. I wish it was a mini-series or a weekly show. I'll take what I can get. Hopefully Joe can fill us in at the Chicago con.

I cringed too, but since it's co-production with RHI, I'm hoping it'll be of higher caliber. They've done some fairly decent stuff and since Mr Picky has been so choosy of late, I hope he wouldn't star in a 'Wombat Vs Anteater' type movie. :-P

I don't expect greatness, but something fun filled with action. And the fact he's trying to get his own show with them...this could be a slight political as well.

Or that's the story I'm sticking to! :-P

Colonel Sam Synn? Well, we all have always thought of him being Colonel Sin, so... Woof. I wonder how this is going to go. I love that it's being filmed in Ireland. Lovely. Makes me also think this will be of higher caliber than the awful SyFy movie of the week.

Sam Synn...I hope they're not thinking of cutting his hair.
