Writing and house cleaning

The help_haiti story with everybetty crossed the 40k word mark with the end in sight! \o/ My partner in crime has been out of town, but has returned as we head into the home stretch of the story. Namely the end! We should get a lot done in the next week than I'd imagine some decent time with editing.

I also got around to updating my “Master List” of fic on LJ, so if you're new and bored, feel free to check things out.

I go on vacation right after Halloween and with all my time spent on trains and planes, I should be mapping out the Secret Santa and a very unusual story it's going to be I think. Definitely outside the box for me. I took my twenty links of research and narrowed them down to about eight worth using and feel I have a decent foundation of knowledge to begin plotting the direction of things.

Domestic front is fine. The key to long relationships is having time together and 'me time' which we both do :D

Good going! It makes me happy to hear about fics in the work - impatient, yes, but happy. We really are fortunate to have an ongoing supply of such good quality sga fanfic. Your secret santa fic sounds intriguing.

There's been a few bumps in the road with HH fic, but for the most part it's been real smooth sailing. :D

The Secret Santa one is so...um..deep? It's very, very psychological in nature and the most philosophical to date for me as well. It will def not be an action story with a huge focus mon emotion and---well I can't say. If I can pull it off, I'll be tickled, but I hope my idea will fit in the time frame I have to write it.

It's amazing how things come together all at once. By Dec I'll have the HH fic, plus two more HP stories posted with the Secret Santa. :-P

I can not wait for the exchanges, being as I read all the prompts, I'm stoked to see what people come up with. I think this year had the most imaginative and thought provoking :D

Thank you. It's our luck that story is post EATG and will come out when the first official SGA novel does covering the same topic, but outs is very focused on only a few aspects and Sheppard centric, so it shouldn't matter :D
