helpthesouth is still running to aid those affected by the massive wave of tornadoes that blew through the southeast of the United States on April 27, 2011. These tornadoes passed through a MASSIVE area including Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and others. There were 137 tornadoes reported that day and at least 300 have been reported dead.

They've also recently expanded to help with those states experiencing massive flooding. Things have continued to increase and the flooding along the Mississippi and its tributaries has gotten significantly worse.

The auctions will close on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at approximately 6pm Central Standard Time. You can also simply donate money via the link at the come. There' still time to sign up to offer words, graphics, food and other items.

I am so deeply saddened by what I have seen, and continue to see, on Weather Channel, which has covered fires in Texas, flooding in so many states and the tornado destruction, particularly hard hit in Alabama........such suffering by so many.
Whatever we can donate would be so needed in so many areas of our nation.
