Random thoughts. Many are shallow.

Okay, I really dug this episode. It was fast paced with a lot of set-up for the season me thinks. If Joe is warning Steve to back away I have much fear for what might happen.

The fight between Joe and Wo-Fat was actually scary to me. Very freaking fierce and makes me think if we ever get one between him and Steve it is going to be epic.

I was annoyed at first at the amount of Lori ( she's here for a while so I won't waste time griping) but that ship was righted with better balance with the whole team.

Kono is back!(but we need more of her)

I loved seeing Danny do a take down during the robbery and we got to see his connection with the son.

The surf warehouse scenes were pretty amazing. Even hubby was glued to the screen. Yep. I loved Danny's rant about avoiding the hand to hand.

I like that the cage match was not gratuitous. It was for charity. There was enough worry over the fact that Steve was over-matched and then we saw the locker room scene afterward.(and he won based on that scene.lol)

I love the progression of this season. The team is balanced more and we have pieces to the Wo Fat plotline.

Oh, and Steve was f*cking hot in this. From start to finish.

Told you. I'm shallow. I want entertainment and I was entertained.

And I love that Steve knows Sam from NCIS LA

Will re-watch

Oh, and Alex should get a bonus after this. I bet the guy was hurting after filming.

I totally agree with your assessment of everything - loved it, loved the action, loved the Joe White/Wo Fat stuff and the fear thats now been planted in us about Steve finding out too much.....

we have our team back - I just want Bori to do her job, report to the Gov about 5-0 and make the team hate her for doing her job.....LOL (just my fantasy....)

and Alex....whoa!! what can you say about tall, dark, inked and ripped???

The action was off the charts with the right amount of character moments and season arc stuff.

I was glad to see Wo Fat again because I think we need to see him once in awhile if we're continuing that arc.

Pretty much agreed with your assessment of the ep, but I'd rather there had been more Kono and less Lori. Oh, well.

As I don't get to watch live I found myself fast forwarding through all the Lori scenes, and yes that meant fast forwarding through Steve scenes as well.. gasp!!. But this woman is just grating on my nerves. I don't think I'll ever get used to her. I want Kono back and not just like a guest star. But I agree that Steve was amazing and so HOT. Maybe I'll enjoy it more on second watch when I psych myself up for Lori, sigh.

That was AWESOME. I've got to watch those fight scenes again, both the charity fight and the scene in the surfboard warehouse. Danny had some great moments too with tackling the burglar and connecting with the boy. Great ep all around!

I love Wo Fat so much. Mark was fantastic in those scenes. You can tell he really can fight by how gracefully he moves.

The noise I made when Steve walked to the ring, had my husband running up from the basement to check on my physical safety. :)

I told him... I was fine. Just having a moment. :)

I agree that the Joe/WoFat fight was pretty damn scary (even though I still expect WoFat to scream ALE CUISINE and reveal a table full of ducks somewhere).
