I can't wait!!! I'm with you on the relationship between those two - how fluid it is depending on what's going on in the world around them.
My second favorite is between Raylan and his boss, Art. I still haven't erased the episode where Raylan wants to figure out where they stand (because of the Winona/money thing) and Art gives him what for. I'm stuck with a man who is a lousy Marshal, but a good lawman.... There is the strangest push/pull, friendship/exasperation between them.
I love friendships that are not black & white. Especially with Boyd who has really evolved, shedding his skin so many times while retaining that ambiguous core.
Raylan isn't exactly a white hat either, although he tries.
His relationship with Art is fascinating and I was so thrilled with the ending of last season's because I hated seeing that strain between them.
