I forgot how much it sucks walking to work in a snowstorm.

I needed a pick-me up. Found this interview from last year regarding the fight scene between Hesse and McG from 1x12.

Adorable the both of them. I miss James.

Interviewer: What’s the hardest part about this particular fight scene?

James Marsters: Fighting with Alex. He’s a mountain man
Alex O’Loughlin: He kicked me in the testicles

Seeing the fake punches is already hilarious to me, but the way Alex doesn't care he embarrasses the too-straightlaced reporters is priceless. And yeah, he does take it seriously, bless him :).

Did you know that the SEAL/UDT shirt he wears on the show was given to him by the SEAL unit he trained with? They felt he'd earned it since it's a shirt that is not sold to the public.

A) The shirt thing is seriously cool. (Is that the shirt he pulls on in a huff in his bedroom in the Danny's Sleeping On Steve's Coach ep? -- EDIT: I see in your icon that he's wearing a shirt that's maybe the one you're talking about?)

B) He trained with a SEAL unit? *is so uninformed. And also whimpering...*

C) You come up with such great stuff. I mean, Alex's testicles. (And I completely love how serious Alex is about honoring what he's doing and doing it well, and how unserious he is about himself as a person.)

D) Watching this inspired me to revisit youtube, where I stumbled across an interview I hadn't seen before, Alex talking about stunts (just in the pilot, I think, although I'm not sure). He's so passionate about giving the stunt team credit -- and also funny describing the stunt that has him leaping off a balcony (or whatever) and grabbing a chain with one hand to swing down to the floor below while he's still firing his gun with his other hand. (Which is probably the sexiest stunt I've ever seen in my life, and I loved an excuse to see it over again in my head. :-))

So -- just so you know -- your post just keeps on giving, from A to D.

A) Yes, the one in my icon in season one and the one that he puts on in a huff as well.

C) I think one of the million reasons why Im smitten with him is that all duality. Badass about his body, his job etc, while be so laid back.

D) Aw, yes. The one where he said he was terrified doing it the first time :-P

We are in freeze pattern here and snow expected on valley floor this weekend........but meanwhile I left house yesterday AM thinking all was well as the sun was brightly shining......it was frigid as east wind roared down the gorge at us.......

I would so love to be in some warmer climate, even if it were not Hawaii.......
