I checked my LJ to ensure the dates and I started writing my
casestory on Feb 24th and wrote until March 21st and got about 12k words done. YAY!
It's April 2nd and the story is due May 1st and I have another 10-15k I think to write. Why muse why??
The good news. I have a month for my betas and edits. This is a Big Bang. Only the rough draft it due on May 1st and posting isn't until early June....but, but...
FLAILS.
I can write 5k a week, right? Then a week to re-write so the poor artist has something readable to choose from. *head desk*
This isn't a story I can just crank out. There's a lot of attention to detail and nuances while trying to keep that emotional edge.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!

Date: 2012-04-03 03:29 am (UTC)A rough draft can be really rough, as long as the bones are there, right? The important things will be there for the artist to choose from. And we will supply you with malasadas for energy and caffeine for...well, *caffeine*... and mental (or physical) images of shirtless Steve and Danny -- okay, those might be distracting instead of helping turbo-charge your writing. But you can do it. Halfway done is great!
