Pro Skater Survives a 45 foot Fall

I love watching the X-Games, summer or Winter. They are very exciting and the producers know how to showcase an event, with dulling it down with pointless cuts and other silliness. The Olympics could take a clue from the X-Games.

This skater lost his board while up in the air and fell straight down. He could have died, cracked his skull, brok every bone in his body but he walked away!

Yes, its dangerous what sport isn't, but this is something pretty freaky to have seen.

Hubby and I were watching that. I'm happy he's ok (although the last I heard he was still in the hospital with damage to his liver and other assorted injuries), BUT the medical staff needs some more training. They should not have moved him they way they did OR let him walk away. It's a very lucky thing that he didn't end up paralyzed.

But I agree, the X Games are very cool to watch!

I know I couldn't understand why he wasn't back boarded....but I guess he really wanted to show he was 'alright'.
