Writing and the Weekend

This weekend was much of the same. We got a call back from one of the apartment people on Friday to contact them on Saturday...well we left two messages without a response. From what I could tell from the voice mail they just had to check on one last thing but it seemed like it as ours..so now I still have to wait till Monday to find out.

Have ANOTHER sales meeting tonight it just ruins my weekend since I have to go to bed almost right as I get home to be at work at 6am Monday.

On the writing front I got the one shot from Hell done. Its going to be three parts and its one of those that was a lot different in my head than on paper. There are parts of it I really like, parts I don't and I've changed my mind over how I feel about the whole thing. It was different take for me, a bit darker and I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it.

After my beta gives it a good roasting I might feel a little better about it.

I have one last one shot to work on before I move. Didn't want to start a long fic before I changed locations. It'll be based on a prompt by kriadydragon and I think I have a pretty cool plot for it. A lot of ideas fell into place last night and if I can get one last element to fit I'll begin that later this week.

For the next few days I plan on reading and catching up on stuff I thought I was going to do today.

OOooh, *drools over pic* I remember when everyone got black uniforms and absolutely dropped my jaw to the floor when I saw Shep in his. Oh, and Torri looks spiffy in her black jacket w/red shirt too. Someone needs to make an icon of this pic- include Weir & Shep ... wish I could do that.

I know the black uniforms were just a way to kill thefnagirls but the added leather jacket was just thuding!

I'd make an icon if I knew how.

Elizabeth does look very nice there.
