Paychecks, writing and TV

kristen999The trials of trying to cash a paycheck when your old address is printed on the front (Ga) and you have an out of state driver's license. Let's not forget that YOUR bank isn't located here, you can't open an account without a NY driver's license oh and you have to have a birth certificate, social security card AND a third form of ID to get one.
Lost my social five years ago.......Sooooooooooooo, yep means my checks are useless right now. FYI, its takes 3-4 weeks to get a new social security card.
Now I have to wait for work to void my old check, issue me a new one with my new address and yes, pray a check cashing place doesn't have an issue with my GA ID until I get the NY one.
On a lighter note, I think the muse is back! I'm putting the John and Teyla one on hold..I just can't get the plot to mold with what I want to have happen....
I've had a Ronon and Sheppard fic in my head for a while, and after “Reunion” I have found a way to explore it. I've been wanting to do one last shorter fic before the long one and have had much desire to write a mainly Ronon and John fic. Now the greatest test is it will my first foray into season 4 territory, but I want to because obviously the Team has changed and I need a tiny bit of canon from “Reunion” to make it happen. Which is odd, because I didn't think I'd write in season 4 yet, since the long fic will be pre-Season 4.
Also must think of a plot for the HC Sheppard Secret Santa exchange...ya think I'd have a million plots that I have a desire to read, but my ideas are other too specific or way too vague right now.
Going to watch some of the Law and Order SVU eppys I DVRed from a marathon tonight. Here's hoping that “Heroes” picks up on the momentum it built from last week and that “Supernatural” will have a great episode. I've been re-watching the box sets and so far Season 3 has been kind of lack luster.
