Trouble with LJ?

Anyone else not getting e-mail notifications about replies to any LJ comments or posts? I've had to go track down threads to my own posts and others because nothing has notified me of any response.


Also, interesting, I'm writing more Ronon than ever before...very cool.

Yeah, that tends to happen every once and awhile. I haven't been getting mine either, but don't worry, they'll probably all show up three months from now. ;-)

Ronon was one of those characters I didn't much like at first, but I steadily fell in love with. I really need to see what you do with him when I get a chance! Unfortunately with my three English classes I haven't had much time to read any fanfic, and I miss it. There needs to be a class on fanfic. Heh.

heh, its awesome to hear from you! I wrote a huge fic with him, John and Rodney a while back, but I know you are if nothing but constantly busy!

Oh, thanks, hun! And I know--doing both work and school is seriously sucking. I miss my life as a slacker, I had it down to a total art. ;-)

Also can I say again how thrilled I am you're writing SGA? Do you having any pairings for this fandom or do you just write Gen? I love the Gen too (sometimes more), but I was wondering if you did have any pairings.

Oh, me too, only I am a total shipper. Heh. Except I tend to like subtext more than anything, and a lot of my own fics end up almost gen anyway.

And thanks for the link! I have to read this article for a presentation, but then if I'm still awake I think I'll read those tonight. I really need something to look forward to in order to get through that essay, so your fic shall be my reward.

Heh. It's like the only life I know I've been at it so long. I ended up getting two AA degrees instead of transferring to get a Bachelor's right off, so now I still have two years left and that's if I decide not to go for a Masters. ::head desk:: And my work-me is like some alternate from a different reality that smiles all the time and is a total office robot. I'm pretty sure I'm going to snap sometime soon.

And wow. Sorry for the rambling. I'm in total procrastination mode right now. ;-)

I'm getting the notifications I'm supposed to - it might be an issue with your email of choice? just like when Yahoomail doesn't play nicely with Yahoogroups - sometimes servers get weird

Eh, I haven't been getting any notifications for the past week, but they're coming back now. You might try contacting LJ- I'm sure they'll fix it before too long, but a day after I contacted them it was back to normal- coincidence or not... who knows.

Well, it turns out my problem was because I use hotmail to receive my notifications, and apparently hotmail decided LiveJournal needed to be blocked or something, even though it's on my contacts/safe list etc.

So I switched to g-mail and everything is working just fine for me now. If you have more problems, you might consider switching email accounts.
