The Past Few Days

kristen999Besides the boring job hunt the things I've been doing.
Downloading NCIS episodes that have been rec'd. I've watched this show off and on and after getting Tivo have been watching Season 5 with enjoyment. Once the writer's strike begins effecting my normal TV viewing I'll watch Season 4 which I saw almost nothing of.
I started looking for places near my house that might have some local DJS spinning drum and bass or some house music. I even looked for down tempo and found some prospects. One of those weird, bar, art gallery restaurants has djs almost every week. A place further down has some monthlys, but we'll see if the quality of the music is any decent and if the venue is suitable. I'm not looking for a 'club' vibe, just a place to drink and listen to tunes.
On the writing front, I'm in the middle of edits and learning the evils of semi colons or trying to learn them right! Also cutting the fic just a bit differently than I thought. I tend to write till a 'stopping point' but that doesn't mean those are the actual chapters. After things are edited, the chapters might get cut in another way for one reason or another.
Thus "The Ties that Bind" will be a six chapter little fic (meaty chapters) that I hope has some nice character stuff, drama, action and maybe some whump :-P
Oh and I need to find a good, long winer coat on line and its not as easy as I thought.
