Need Postive Vibes

I had that second interview on Thursday. I'm pretty good at judging things and I think I nailed it. The DM said she was going to make her decision Monday, but I never got a call today.

Now I know many things could have stalled out, background check, reference check, the holiday but I can't help but be paranoid that I didn't get it.

Most jobs don't call you to let you know they picked another candidate. Tuesday I think is the DAY. If I don't get the call then I know what happened.

It's rare of me to seek out things out but I could use positive vibes. Its already the middle of Nov and getting a new job so close to the holidays will be though. I have some back up plans but I just want this thing to work out.

I believe in karma so whatever might help guys.

Fingers crossed on the job. I know what it's like to wait, having done too many interviews over the years after being laid off multiple times. No fun. And you'd think in this day and age of electronic medium, they could email everybody they didn't pick and go 'sorry.' Nope, they never do. If you don't hear from them, call them. Better than waiting on pins and needles.

They'll call you today and if not then you should call them and ask if they knew something already. Maybe they just didn't have the time or they forget it somehow, I'm also very forgetful. *lol*

You know, you really should go ahead and call them back and just ask if they've made a decision. I know that's a scary step to take in some respects, but still, if they need more time to decide or they know and aren't calling, your asking will at least get you out of the dark. I know 'not knowing' is harder than knowing.

Honestly, I think you have every right to call her now. When they give you a day they're going to call, and they don't, I think it's ok to call and ask what's up. Because even if they have offered it elsewhere, she DID say she'd let you know Monday, and she didn't. I hate to think of you sitting there waiting, entirely stressed out. Better to know, right? If you're respectful, I don't think she can get upset for asking. It's up to you, but I can imagine what you're feeling, and I just want that to be fixed ASAP!! I STILL don't necessarily think if you don't hear by today, it means a no. I really don't. It COULD, but I wouldn't assume that. Still got all my digits crossed for you.
